 申18:1 祭司利未人和利未全支派、必在以色列中無分無業、他們所喫用的、就是獻給耶和華的火祭、和一切所捐的。
  The priests the Levites, and all the tribe of Levi, shall have no part nor inheritance with Israel: they shall eat the offerings of the Lord made by fire, and his inheritance.
 申18:2 他們在弟兄中必沒有產業、耶和華是他們的產業、正如耶和華所應許他們的。
  Therefore shall they have no inheritance among their brethren: the Lord is their inheritance, as he hath said unto them.
 申18:3 祭司從百姓所當得的分乃是這樣．凡獻牛或羊為祭的、要把前腿、和兩腮、並脾胃給祭司。
  And this shall be the priest's due from the people, from them that offer a sacrifice, whether it be ox or sheep; and they shall give unto the priest the shoulder, and the two cheeks, and the maw.
 申18:4 初收的五穀、新酒、和油、並初剪的羊毛、也要給他。
  The firstfruit also of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the first of the fleece of thy sheep, shalt thou give him.
 申18:5 因為耶和華你的　神、從你各支派中將他揀選出來、使他和他子孫、永遠奉耶和華的名侍立事奉。
  For the Lord thy God hath chosen him out of all thy tribes, to stand to minister in the name of the Lord, him and his sons for ever.
 申18:6 利未人、無論寄居在以色列中的那一座城、若從那裡出來、一心願意到耶和華所選擇的地方、
  And if a Levite come from any of thy gates out of all Israel, where he sojourned, and come with all the desire of his mind unto the place which the Lord shall choose;
 申18:7 就要奉耶和華他　神的名事奉、像他眾弟兄利未人侍立在耶和華面前事奉一樣。
  Then he shall minister in the name of the Lord his God, as all his brethren the Levites do, which stand there before the Lord.
 申18:8 除了他賣祖父產業所得的以外、還要得一分祭物與他們同喫。
  They shall have like portions to eat, beside that which cometh of the sale of his patrimony.
 申18:9 你到了耶和華你　神所賜之地、那些國民所行可憎惡的事、你不可學著行。
  When thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.
 申18:10 你們中間不可有人使兒女經火、也不可有占卜的、觀兆的、用法術的、行邪術的、
  There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
 申18:11 用迷術的、交鬼的、行巫術的、過陰的。
  Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
 申18:12 凡行這些事的、都為耶和華所憎惡．因那些國民行這可憎惡的事、所以耶和華你的　神將他們從你面前趕出。
  For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
 申18:13 你要在耶和華你的　神面前作完全人。
  Thou shalt be perfect with the Lord thy God.
 申18:14 因你所要趕出的那些國民、都聽信觀兆的、和占卜的、至於你、耶和華你的　神從來不許你這樣行。
  For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the Lord thy God hath not suffered thee so to do.
 申18:15 耶和華你的　神要從你們弟兄中間、給你興起一位先知像我、你們要聽從他。
  The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;
 申18:16 正如你在何烈山大會的日子、求耶和華你　神一切的話說、求你不再叫我聽見耶和華我　神的聲音、也不再叫我看見這大火、免得我死亡。
  According to all that thou desiredst of the Lord thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the Lord my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.
 申18:17 耶和華就對我說、他們所說的是。
  And the Lord said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.
 申18:18 我必在他們弟兄中間、給他們興起一位先知像你、我要將當說的話傳給他、他要將我一切所吩咐的、都傳給他們。
  I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.
 申18:19 誰不聽他奉我名所說的話、我必討誰的罪。
  And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.
 申18:20 若有先知擅敢託我的名、說我所未曾吩咐他說的話、或是奉別神的名說話、那先知就必治死。
  But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.
 申18:21 你心裡若說、耶和華所未曾吩咐的話我們怎能知道呢。
  And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the Lord hath not spoken?
 申18:22 先知託耶和華的名說話、所說的若不成就、也無效驗、這就是耶和華所未曾吩咐的、是那先知擅自說的、你不要怕他。
  When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.
